Varanasi: Mahesh Babu To Embark On A Dangerous Global Mission
Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film Varanasi is expected to complete its shooting by October 2026. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 7th 2027.
Sky-Blu Cinematix, the movie’s official brand partner has revealed the film’s storyline on its website. Set in 2027 this story follows Rudhra, played by Mahesh Babu, a brave archaeologist and explorer.
A huge asteroid named Shambhavi is heading towards Varanasi putting the world at risk. Rudhra is sent on a dangerous mission to find an ancient cosmic artifact along with Mandakini, played by Priyanka Chopra.
Their journey takes them across Africa, Antarctica and Europe while Kumbha played by Prithviraj Sukumaran chases them.
The film blends mythology, science fiction and adventure. KL Narayana is producing it in a great way with music by MM Keeravani.
